The Department of Education, Innovation and Vocational Training wishes to advise parents and guardians that school will NOT officially reopen on Monday 18th, October, 2021. The circumstances, according to the Ministry of Health, makes it favourable to reopen school, however, the Department of Education, Innovation and Vocational Training will continue to dialogue with all stakeholders to determine the way forward for full reopening.
The Department, however, announces that face-to-face instruction will resume for Special Education institutions, Kindergarten, Grade Six (6) and Forms Four (4) and Five (5) on Monday October 25th, 2021. All prescribed protocols will be enforced at all institutions where in-person instruction will be conducted.
